Can two lonely souls finally get a second chance on getting it right?

Robert can’t believe this has happened again. His heart is in tatters, all because of his once-again ex. Out of pure frustration, he takes matters into his own hands and gives boxing a try. All he gains is an injured hand, which needs the attention of a physical therapist.

David is overwhelmed and his heart is in denial over the sudden departure of the man he was in love with. As he tries to piece his life back together, a patient needing therapy walks into his clinic and the attraction is immediate; but the desire is not.

Can these two finally find a good relationship that will last and work this time around?

Stephanie Danielson: Who am I and why do I write this?
Well, I’m a straight (cis) female born and raised in the midwest…not the most exciting spots to live, but we did well. I’m a happily married woman and ‘mother’ to a very precious cat. Most of my life has revolved around reading, writing, and avoiding ‘rithmetic. ha ha. Actually, business math appealed to me, hence a BS and Masters degree to my credit.
Why do I write this? When I was 12 I wanted to explore writing a central character and build the town around them. Not much changed until I was 16 and met my first gay boy. I had a huge crush on him, which he knew, but didn’t crush me at all. He was sweet and kind and I knew then I wanted to always write gay guys in the most positive sense I could.

Doesn’t that sound great? I know I’m ready to read it! For a chance to win Stephanie’s book, leave a comment on this post. And don’t forget to come back every day in December through Christmas for a chance to win more MM books from some of the best authors in the genre!

Happy Holidays!

Years ago, Victor made the unfortunate mistake of coming out to his family on Christmas. Why couldn’t he have picked a random summer day? Can Victor’s husband Bryan pull him out of his gloomy mood in order to give the popular Gavin and Matthew the merry Christmas they deserve?

All Hearts On Deck

Universal buy link on Amazon: mybook.to/allheartsondeck

When you’ve only got one last Christmas, you’ll do whatever it takes to make it perfect.

Bailey
My older brother and his family are the most important people in my life. He took me off the streets when I ran away seven years ago. When he asks me to be the guardian of his kids in the event of his death, I promise him never to let our mother get custody of his kids.
A year after his death, I’m struggling to keep my niece and nephew. Thanks to my boss, and the cruise tickets he gives me for Christmas bonus, we’re able to get away temporarily. And I’ll try not to think that, I may have done the one thing I promised myself never to do again, for those tickets.

Arthur
Money and men are my two vices. The first is easy to make, the second never stays. Given my bad luck with men, I should stay away from my handyman, Bailey. He’s too young, too good looking, too perfect. When I gift him two tickets for a Christmas Caribbean cruise, I have no intention of following him, but Bailey breaks our professional relationship when he shows me just how grateful he is. Following him on that cruise, I have every intention of picking up right where we left off, but Bailey comes with extra baggage I’m not sure I can handle. Do I dare pursue his heart on deck when he’s made it clear he’s a package deal?

Gianni Holmes is a book nerd who pretends her obsession with Thor is completely healthy. She enjoys computer games, word games, and anything that will make her LOL. She loves bingeing on funny ‘old but goodie’ sitcoms such as I Love Lucy, The Golden Girls, and The Andy Griffith Show. She writes her characters with sass at the bottom, substance in the middle, snark on top, and garnished with spicy.

Happy Holidays!

25 Days of Christmas 2018 – Day Four

I love this time of year. No matter that personally I won’t have a Christmas, I love giving away books to readers every December. It’s my favorite part of the season, right behind peppermint mochas and gingerbread lattes. 🙂  Today, I have TWO books to give you from two amazing authors! Check them out!

Jewel Cave by Elizabeth Noble

Buy Link:  http://amzn.to/2bY9xEd

Through ten wonderful years Griff Diamond and Clint Bishop weathered good times and bad together. Lately they haven’t spent as much time together as they’d like, and their physical relationship is suffering. Then Clint loses his job at the steel mill. Instead of worrying, he sees it as an opportunity to lean on his steady partner, start his writing career, and rekindle the passion they’ve lost.

But a friendly relationship with another author turns to obsession, putting Clint’s life in danger. Taken against his will to the Jewel Cave system in South Dakota, Clint must rely on the skills he’s learned from Griff to survive.

Fearing the worst, Griff tracks Clint across the country. As a US Marshall, Griff’s always been the man who keeps everyone safe, but he doesn’t know how he and Clint will survive this.

Mystery, action, chills, and thrills spiced with romance and desire. ELIZABETH NOBLE started telling stories before she actually knew how to write, and her family was very happy when she learned to put words on a page. Those words turned into books and fan fiction that turned into a genuine love of M/M fiction. Being able to share her stories is really a dream come true. She has a real love for a good mystery complete with murder and twisty plots as well as all things sci-fi, futuristic, and supernatural.

Elizabeth has three grown children and is now happily owned by an adorable mixed breed canine princess, a spunky Welsh Corgi and their sidekick, tabby cat. She lives in her native northeast Ohio, the perfect place for gardening, winter and summer sports (go Tribe and Cavs!). When she’s not writing she’s working as a veterinary nurse, so don’t be surprised to see her men with a pet or three who are a very big part of their lives.

Elizabeth has received a number of amateur writing awards. Since being published, several of her novels have received Honorable Mentions in the Rainbow Awards. Jewel Cave was a runner-up in the Gay Mystery/Thriller category in the 2015 Rainbow Awards. Ringed Love was a winner in the Gay Fantasy Romance category of the 2016 Rainbow Awards.

The Elves of Christmas

Buy/borrow in KU link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0783ZKDDW/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_

Two months before Christmas at the North Pole, Santa’s workshop bustles with activity. Santa is coming early with only half a day’s warning to inspect the elves’ progress!

Pepper, who designs and makes special one-of-a-kind dolls, is ordered by his boss Jingle to take time out of toy-making to wash three stories of windows and decorate every room in preparation for Santa. Jingle assigns Ice to assist. But for Pepper, it’s a bit of a problem. Ice is a surly elf, even disrespectful toward Santa, while Pepper reveres Santa to the point of hero-worship.

An unlikely pairing, they must work together in order to finish before Santa’s arrival.

But can two elves with conflicting value systems even get along?

And when Santa finally arrives, will the tension between Santa and Ice ruin everything for Pepper?

Amidst secrets, resentments, toasted cheese sandwiches, snowman building, being caught in a blizzard, and Santa’s nerve-wracking visit, Pepper and Ice discover a mutual attraction. But they must overcome wrongful assumptions and failed expectations for love to take its natural course and lead them to a Merry Christmas.

About Wendy Rathbone

I love to write.

The reason I write romance these days is because the overwhelming power of falling in love (which has been proven to heal even cancer) is a game-changer. It makes sad people instantly happy. It makes bleak reality look sun-warmed and friendly again.

I have written in all genres: scifi, fantasy, horror, paranormal, contemporary, erotica, romance. But I keep coming back to romance. Gay romance. Male/male romance. The idea of two men falling in love in a society that has winced at that sort of thing for far too long (when in ancient times and other cultures it is considered normal) is alluring. Many of my themes involve abduction, pleasure slavery, indentured servitude, and imprisonment. It’s like, with my writing, I’m constantly breaking out of some self-imposed cage and letting my wings unfurl until I can finally fly.

This is why I write. This is what makes me burn.

All my books are available on Amazon and in Kindle Unlimited. So if you have the urge, go take a look. See what’s on the shelf.

WOW. Two great books, one of which is in the spirit of the season! For a chance to win these two books, leave a comment on this post. Winner will be drawn on Dec 7th so keep coming back! There will be more chances to win every day through Christmas.

Happy Holidays!

25 Days of Christmas 2018 – Day Three

Today, on Day Three, at the suggestion of someone who has participated in this event in the past, I’m going to do something different. I’m going to change up how I pick winners.  Well, not how, but when. Instead of posting winners each day, I’m going to post winners every 7th day and on the morning of the 26th. So look to see if you won on the 7th, 14th, 21st and 26th. I could wait until the very end, but I think that spoils the whole thing. You already have to wait until Christmas for your presents. I want to spread out the giving and it will be easier for me to do the giveaways in batches rather than every day.

That being said, this is what I have for you today: One of my good friends, KC Burn is offering up a wonderful MM book, Set Ablaze! If you’ve never read a book by KC you are in for a treat!

Set Ablaze

California firefighter Hayden Hurst is starting to realize there’s more to life than fighting fires and drinking with his buddies. He has room in his home and his life for someone special, but no one has stood out among his hookups. And while he’s out at work, admitting he’s gay is very different from showing up at social functions with a man. He’s afraid that’ll be too much for his less-than-accepting “friends.”

Broadway dancer Jez Bouchet hasn’t been mistaken for straight since he was gay-bashed at seventeen. After getting a lucrative job offer in Hollywood, he uproots his life in New York and drives to Los Angeles. His brother, who is Hayden’s best friend, arranges for him to crash at Hayden’s place.

The attraction between Hayden and Jez is unexpected but fiery, and they succumb before they’re even sure they like each other. But Jez hates Hayden’s homophobic friends, and Hayden knows Jez is too flamboyant for him to fly under the radar. Then there’s the complication of Jez’s brother.

Despite those hurdles, they fling themselves into a relationship. But Jez has secrets: a tiny spoiled dog and a determined stalker. If he doesn’t come clean, he might torch their burgeoning relationship before it has a chance to bloom.

Set Ablaze is available at Dreamspinner Press and Amazon.

KC Burn has been writing for as long as she can remember and is a sucker for happy endings (of all kinds).  After moving from Toronto to Florida for her husband to take a dream job, she discovered a love of gay romance and fulfilled a dream of her own — getting published.  After a few years of editing web content by day, and neglecting her supportive, understanding hubby and needy cat at night to write stories about men loving men, she was uprooted yet again and now resides in California. Writing is always fun and rewarding, but writing about her guys is the most fun she’s had in a long time, and she hopes you’ll enjoy them as much as she does.

Visit KC at her website, on Twitter, on Facebook, or find out about new releases by signing up for her newsletter.

Doesn’t that sound like the yummiest book? You can win a copy by leaving a comment on this post. Winner will be announced on Dec 7th right here at SunlightSucks.com. And keep coming back every day through Christmas as I have more hot MM books to give away!

Happy Holidays!
