Day 13 – 30 Days of Christmas 2017

We had three great books yesterday and today I get to announce the winner of all three! Congrats to Elayne! You’ll be hearing from the authors very soon.

Today, I’ve got something really special up my sleeve for you from Nya Rawlyns and an anthology from Ryo Salinas!

The Bad Boyfriends Collection by Nya Rawlyns

Includes Curling Iron, Pumping Iron, Jerking Iron

Gay suspense, crime, action-adventure, romance

Reviewer says: “Tinkers to Evans to Chance–What a Triple Play! The sex is phenomenal. You would be hard-pressed to find a better all-encompassing series than this one which needs absolutely no sequel to keep you interested. You are satisfied, if not totally out of breath.”~Bo, Amazon Review

Curling Iron: Kane runs a fitness center by day. By night, he services a different clientele.

Pumping Iron: What does it take to bring a slow simmer to a rolling boil?

Jerking Iron: They’re about to find out why a man you can’t break is a man worth breaking.

Ryo Salinas spends most of her days writing and reading, exploring new worlds. She loves delving into the realm of fantasy of various kinds and dancing to her own beat. She is an avid animal lover and has had various kinds of pets. From cats and dogs to birds and rodents. She even once had owned a ferret. Despite being scared of snakes, she’s named and claimed a garden snake as her own, calling it her personal legacy by naming it Memoir. Though the ground rules for Memoir is that he stays outside.

Bets With Benefits

Be careful what you bet on…

Betting is all fun and games until you have to pay up when you lose. Within these three short stories we follow the ones who were on the losing end of a bet. The price they paid? They have to wear a pink Lolita dress.

Luckily for them, sometimes paying up comes with the best benefits.

* After receiving a shock from his late aunt’s past, Jake makes a bet with his devious lover and the loser pays penance.

* Michael Gentry lost a bet and decides to make the best of the situation with a little bit of seduction.

* Travis has a problem. But will his gambling win him a chance at finding true love or cost him everything?

And there you have it for this Tuesday, Dec 12! For a chance to win the Bad Boys Collection and the Bets With Benefits anthology, just leave a comment on this post before midnight Pacific time December 12, 2017! Watch the time! If you post on previous days’ giveaways instead of this one, you miss out on a chance to win TODAY’S books! And keep coming back every day in December as there are some amazing MM authors coming up this week!

Day 12 – 30 Days of Christmas 2017

Yesterday I had Liv Rancourt and Melissa Costa as my featured authors and today, I’ve got the winner of their books! Give it up for JenCW! WOOT!

Today, I’ve got THREE books to giveaway from four authors! Featured today are NL Gassert, LL Dahlin and Jenna Rose and Katey Hawthorne!

NL Gassert is the author of The Protector, a 2009 Lambda Literary Award finalist for best gay romance.

NL Gassert (Nadja) is a native of Germany and nomad by choice. She has lived on three continents, including two tropical islands, where she survived super typhoons and earthquakes. Her nomadic lifestyle recently ended, when her redheaded Veteran husband (“Hooah”) retired from the military. They settle in lush Georgia (for now).

A professionally-trained concierge, she also worked as a public relations assistant and was a staff writer for a Japanese weekly. She has a master’s degree in Communication and Information Studies from Rutgers University and currently works—underpaid, but not underappreciated—at a Middle School.

Nadja is a member of Romance Writers of America.  She is a fibromyalgia warrior, a recovering insomniac, and a voracious reader.

The Protector

Soren Buchanan feels trapped by his controlling father James, a businessman who’s clever at masking illegal financial dealings on the tropical island of Guam. When James finally asks too much of him, Soren flees to the FBI for help.

Until Soren’s information pans out, the Bureau can’t protect him — so the task falls to Mason Ward, security specialist and former US Army Ranger.

Protecting Soren should be easy enough, but Soren is young, seductive, and not entirely forthcoming about the trouble following him. Mason must fight his growing attraction to the young man as well as thugs sent to bring Soren Buchanan home … dead or alive.

This finalist for the Lambda Literary Award for best gay romance is perfect for fans of LA Witt’s Okinawa series.

Jenna Rose is an avid reader and writer, particularly when it comes to science-fiction and fantasy.  Currently, she works as a receptionist, but her real love is writing. In her free time, she likes to read comic books, play video games, and waste time on the internet. She currently lives in Massachusetts with her dog, Harley.

Katey Hawthorne is an avid reader and writer of superpowered and paranormal romance, even though the only degree she holds is in the history of art. (Or, possibly, because the only degree she holds is in the history of art.) Originally from the Appalachian foothills of West Virginia, she currently lives in Ohio with her family, two cats, and one very large puppy. In her spare time she enjoys travel, comic books, B-movies, loud music, video games, Epiphones, and Bushmills. Her favorite causes include animal rescue and bisexual representation in media. She is an unashamed fangirl and collects nerdy tattoos like she’s trying to prove it.

Kanaan & Tilney: The Case of the Arms Dealers

The first in the series is Kanaan & Tilney: The Case of the Arms dealers. It’s like paranormal mystery–with an m/m pairing. There are puns, supernatural hijinks, a grouchy wolf shifter, and a demisexual main character. Their website has more, if you wanna check it out.

John Tilney–praeternatural pyrokinetic and mystery author–has noticed the bottom dropping out of the market for his usual gothic fare, so he goes to Lowell Kanaan, PI, for a crash course in noir. Lowell, the cranky wolf-shifter detective, isn’t sure why he agrees to let John shadow him–though it might have something to do with John’s weirdly endearing honesty… and pretty lips. John thinks he’s found the perfect detective novel hero in Lowell, but it isn’t long before he realizes he doesn’t want Lowell for his book, but for himself.

As they become entangled in a supernatural whodunnit involving the Zombie Mafia, black market body parts, and shady insurance deals, their partnership grows closer–and hotter. But when it comes down to the wire, Lowell’s wolfy protective side threatens to drive John around the bend, or at least out of the office. Good thing John’s as much sunshine as he is fire; hopefully it’s enough to help them catch a murderer before they end up in literal pieces, too.

Ooooh. Don’t those three look good? I know I’d read them! For a chance to win all three books, leave a comment on this post by midnight Pacific time. And keep coming back, I’ve got the best MM authors on the planet coming soon to this blog and YOU could win their books just by leaving a comment here on every new post!

Happy Holidays!

Day 11 – 30 Days of Christmas 2017

Whew! What a loooong weekend. I exhausted myself at the company holiday party.  I guess I wasn’t as ready to expend that much energy as I thought. I was pretty much useless all of Sunday. But I did manage to write this post! I wouldn’t forget to give away books, I promise! Yesterday we had books by Harper Jewel and Shane Morton and today I have a winner of those books. Big hand for Susana! YAY!

Now, I know I’m behind on contacting authors with their winners, so everyone just relax. I will be caught up by Wednesday. I just didn’t realize how much time edits for Christmas books and work on the holiday party were going to take out of me! But I will get those emails out Monday and Tuesday so winners and authors keep your eyes peeled!

For today, I’ve got two more new to me MM authors and I really think you’ll like both of them. Please welcome Liv Rancourt and Melissa Costa! Let’s check out the books they are giving away.

Vespers by Liv Rancourt

Thaddeus Dupont has had over eighty years to forget…

The vampire spends his nights chanting the Liturgy of the Hours and ruthlessly disciplines those unnatural urges he’s vowed never again to indulge. He is at the command of the White Monks, who summon him at will to destroy demons. In return, the monks provide for his sustenance and promise the return of his immortal soul.

Sarasija Mishra’s most compelling job qualification might be his type O blood…

The 22-year-old college grad just moved across the country to work for some recluse he can’t even find on the internet. Sounds sketchy, but the salary is awesome and he can’t afford to be picky. On arrival he discovers a few details his contract neglected to mention, like the alligator-infested swamp, the demon attacks, and the nature of his employer’s “special diet”. A smart guy would leave, but after one look into Dupont’s mesmerizing eyes, Sarasija can’t seem to walk away. Too bad his boss expected “Sara” to be a girl.

Falling in love is hard at any age…

The vampire can’t fight his hungers forever, especially since Sara’s brought him light, laughter and a very masculine heat. After yielding to temptation, Thaddeus must make a choice. Killing demons may save his soul, but keeping the faith will cost him his heart.

Melissa Costa writes character-driven fiction, and any genre is fair game. When she’s not writing, she enjoys reading, anime, manga, gaming, theme parks, and board games with friends. She’s completely obsessed with pelicans, pirates, and everything about the sea! Living by the motto of trying all things twice, Melissa has jumped out of a perfectly good plane, swam with manatees, dove head first into Alice’s rabbit hole, and seduced classy ladies in 6 inch heels. A free-spirited bohemian, she currently lives in artsy St. Petersburg, Florida with her soulmate and their two, adorably needy cats.

Dream Infected

Brett, one of the few survivors of Sandman’s Dream, infecting most of humanity, is secretly in love with his best friend, Ivan. When Ivan becomes infected, will Brett be forced to abandon him to the Dream, or will he fight for one he loves?

Yesterday I brought you three authors who were new to me! I hope you really liked what they had to offer and have checked them out! Now, the winner of those books is Alexis Woods! WOOO HOOO!

Today, I’ve got a great holiday book for you from my fellow Loose Id author Harper Jewel and an intriguing book from Shane K. Morton. Let’s take a look!

Harper Jewel lives in northeast New Jersey with her husband and college-age daughter. She has two cats, enjoys reading, and taking trips to Walt Disney World. With her outgoing personality and vivid imagination, she can create characters and plots that are believable as well as memorable.

She thoroughly enjoys her male characters as they speak to her quite loudly while proving love is love. She is proud to have the honor of being the first M/M author accepted at the now-closed Lush Publishing.

In addition to her writing, she uses her college education and background in English and Language Arts to work as an independent editor. She’s also expanded her skills to include formatting for Smashwords Premium Catalog, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, & Amazon.

In September 2015, she created Slippery Fingers Press & Publishing Services. She uses the company name for self-publishing as well as her editing and formatting jobs.

Ripping Off the Mask her first full-length novel, published by Loose Id is now available at most e-book retailers.

After thirty years of working with the unemployed, coping with threats, tears and broken lives (and these were only from fellow staff), LV Lloyd decided it was time to make her escape.  And what better place to go than the world of m/m romance?  She started writing Dangerous Tension, her first ebook, years ago, but put it aside due to work and family commitments.

In 2012, she dusted off the foolscap pages stored under her bed, finished the story and turned it into a book.  Since then, she has written five more ebooks in the Aurigan Space Saga series, and numerous short stories.

Gothic Romance is her first venture into a new genre, Historical Romance.

LV Lloyd lives in Adelaide, Australia, with her family and three cats.  In her spare time she enjoys fishing and visiting the many local wineries.”

The Cupids Do Christmas

Piotr “Snake” Lewin has had it with his job as one of Aphrodite’s cupids. He’s sick of all the true love bollocks, and if he has to watch one more couple fall in love, heads are going to roll. Probably literally.

The final straw is the announcement that the cupids will be helping out Father Christmas in the run up to the most materialistic day of the year. One overcommercialised holiday a year is more than enough, thanks.

That’s it. Piotr quits. Now, he just has to survive the one month notice period at ‘The North Pole’, and the cute elf who’s dead set on making friends.
