Day 15 – 30 Days of Christmas 2017

We have had such a wonderful diversity of MM authors thus far in the giveaway. I know I’ve added to my TBR pile to the point my hubs is going to KILL me if I buy them all! But I love giving them away to readers at this time every year. I understand better than most people how rough life can be and how horrible it is to live in dark moments all the time. For me, the only saving grace in an often very difficult life are books. Books make me feel better. They lift me up when I am low even if it’s only for a short time. My sister Jeannette who died December of last year and her ex-husband who just died this week, instilled a love of culture, arts and books in me from a very young age. I’m not sure my nephew remembers that as I do, but it’s true.

Anyway, during this time of year, this giveaway is my way of giving something back to the community that has had my back through some very bad times. I offer a little promo to the authors in exchange for giving away a book to readers, and I offer them a chance to win a free ebook cover from Winterheart Design. For readers, this is their chance to come here every day and leave a comment for a chance to win each day’s books. Win-win-win.

So my winner of yesterday’s books is Sula! Hooray!

Today I have books from Autumn Montague and Jackson Marsh! Both of these books look great and I know whoever wins them will really enjoy their time reading!

Autumn grew up loving all things historical, all things romance, and all things Japanese. Celtic to her bones, she still became a devoted Japanophile. Her love of both cultures has led her to incorporate this love into her writing. Her stories are always well spiced with the taste of Japan and strange Celtic beasties. Sometimes lightly, sometimes heavily, but always deliciously.

Challenged By Love Box Set

Captain Theodore Hedgeford was once the Adonis of his cavalry unit. A devastating injury at Waterloo leaves him disfigured, and earns him a new nickname: Caliban. His lover abandons him, leaving Theo to suffer through his recovery alone. Determined to protect his heart from further pain, Theo finds his vow challenged by a not-so-chance encounter with cavalry groom Robin Thornfield. Unprecedented sexual pleasure and the comfort Rob provides wars with the humiliation of being unable to care for himself.

Robin Thornfield has longed to be by Theo’s side since Rob was a groom for their cavalry unit. Undaunted by Hedgeford’s devastating injuries, Rob takes the position of valet and sets about making himself indispensable. He is determined to provide for all of Theo’s needs: physical, emotional, and sexual. When Theo’s former lover returns with blackmail on his mind, Rob knows he must protect both Theo and their newly discovered love.

Note: Readers with a history of rape or sexual abuse may find elements of this story disturbing.

Julian Mure spent his adult life seeking nothing more than passing moments of pleasure, loving only himself. He prefered his own company to that of sycophants and casual liars, so the disdainful nickname of Narcissus holds no sting. Only one person has ever pierced Julian’s heart–pierced it and broken it at the same time–so falling in love is nothing he wishes to repeat. He finds the situation perfectly satisfying until the day his favorite hunter fails to clear a hedge-lined ditch, pitching them both headlong and costing Julian his right eye and arm.

Widower Alasdair Hedgeford was not oblivious to Julian’s desire, but married to Julian’s sister his place in the lad’s life was as older brother. No more. Over the years, he’s done his best to show Julian affection but that affection has changed into a desire for more.

Yielding to that desire would mean breaking two taboos. But given the opportunity to to visit Julian for the annual “First Foot” celebration, Alasdair cannot help but extend a challenge to the man: “Come dine with me tomorrow night, to celebrate the New Year.”

Nicholas Beauregard has spent his life trying to prove that his game leg and short stature will never stand in his way. Even so, his determination has done nothing to satisfy his most secret desire. When chance sends him an invitation to the notorious Twelfth Night Revel thrown by Viscount Colvin, Nicholas accepts. Though he’s never met the man, he’s heard rumors of the viscount’s debauched masquerades. Such a bawdy event should provide an eyeful of male anatomy to ogle, and perhaps, the right man. Someone with the power to accept his submission.

Viscount Sebastian Colvin is looking forward to this year’s revel, which promises to be filled with good company, self-indulgent pleasure, and a diversion from his father’s insistence that he marry. Scandalously clad as the god Apollo, Sebastian hopes this year’s revel will also bring him someone worthy of his darkest longing. Someone who is strong enough to accept his control.

Two secrets. Two powerful desires. And one chance to form a match made by the gods.

Jackson Marsh is a British author now living in the Greek islands. He has won awards for his gay erotic writing and has written for several adult websites. His collections of erotic gay shorts are available from membership sites. In 2007, Jackson won an EGPA for his writing.

‘Other People’s Dreams’ was his first gay romance novel; this is the revised edition. More Jackson Marsh novels will be coming soon.

Other People’s Dreams

Other People’s Dreams is an erotic gay thriller that combines the magic of the Greek islands with a story of obsessive sexual desire.

One yacht, a thousand islands and all the time in the world…

Four cute gay youths sign-up for the adventure of a lifetime; an all-expenses-paid sailing trip among the Greek islands. However, the boat’s wealthy owner, the handsome but troubled Jake Chambers, has a hidden agenda. His advertisement clearly stated, ‘Certain strings attached.’

Jake’s innocent crew become the victims of his obsessive behaviour when he turns his attention to each one of them in turn.

A stolen chance, lost love, a wrecked boat – Thirteen years of guilt are bound to take their toll.
