Day 9 – 30 Days of Christmas 2017

The last couple of days were BIG days with popular authors and a lot of activity! Today I’ve got three new to me authors and I hope that you will give them a big welcome! Before we look at today’s books, I’ve got a winner for Lucy Lennox, AE Wasp and me, Lex Valentine! Congrats to Yolanda!

Now, on to today’s giveaway. I’m gonna have a busy night tonight at my company’s holiday party. I even have a little red dress! It’s literally a little red dress since it’s THREE whole sizes smaller than anything I’ve worn in the past few years. So I’m really excited to bring you these new to me authors and you can just imagine me doing the Snoopy dance in my little red dress as you read about them!

After years on hiatus, Raven de Hart returned to writing her tantalizing tales and salacious stories. She is the author of Wild Ride as well as a variety of erotic short stories. Her work has been featured in anthologies through Storm Moon Press, Bold Strokes Books, Cleis Press, and Ravenous Romance. She is the author of several books, including Street Magic and Silverfall. She lives in a small, restored cottage on the coast of Washington. When she’s not writing or researching, she can be found tending her herb garden, playing with her Basset hounds, and trying to figure out this new-fangled internet fad. More information can be found on her blog (, on Twitter (@dehartslist), or on Facebook (

Heart of a Pirate

A land of ancient magic, a tale of fated hearts.

Diman has long sought a new life, a better life. One separated from the village that shuns him. He dreams of big cities, fantastic sights, far-flung travels. And he dreams of love. But his village denies him that, the most basic of rights. When Makri, goddess of the sea, visits him in a dream, she offers him a new life.

Ladir has served the Temple of Glidak his entire life, spreading their message to the farthest edges of Madijak. Yet darkness shrouds him, hardens his heart against the Church of Dera, the order who murdered his parents. He longs for vengeance, for punishment. He longs for annihilation. But a new arrival at the temple throws his life into disarray. Now, if he pursues his revenge, he may well the person who has come to mean everything to him.

A man of peace, long-suffering. A man of passion, seeking violence. Both caught in a conflict that seeks to destroy them. But powerful emotions run between them, bind them as one. Will their ties be strong enough to last, or will this tension crack their bonds?

After thirty years of working with the unemployed, coping with threats, tears and broken lives (and these were only from fellow staff), LV Lloyd decided it was time to make her escape.  And what better place to go than the world of m/m romance?  She started writing Dangerous Tension, her first ebook, years ago, but put it aside due to work and family commitments.

In 2012, she dusted off the foolscap pages stored under her bed, finished the story and turned it into a book.  Since then, she has written five more ebooks in the Aurigan Space Saga series, and numerous short stories.

Gothic Romance is her first venture into a new genre, Historical Romance.

LV Lloyd lives in Adelaide, Australia, with her family and three cats.  In her spare time she enjoys fishing and visiting the many local wineries.”

Gothic Romance

When Jonathan Winters accepts a post as tutor to the only son of Lord D’Anvers, he looks forward to sharing his love of learning with his young pupil.  Not even arriving at Castle Blackstone in the middle of a thunderstorm can dampen his enthusiasm, nor the fact that the wing above his head is forbidden.

Absorbed with Evelyn’s education, Jonathan is completely unprepared to find himself the object of Lord D’Anvers’ attentions.

Until D’Anvers kisses him…

A Gay Historical Romance (with apologies to Jane Eyre…)

Riza Curtis began writing stories at a young age to the a̶n̶n̶o̶y̶a̶n̶c̶e̶  delight of anyone she could b̶u̶l̶l̶y̶ persuade to read them. Now somewhat older, if not wiser, things haven’t really changed.

Riza lives in England where they enjoy adding extra letters to words, tea, and discussing the weather (it’s always raining). She has a FdSci in Manufacturing Engineering and is currently working towards her BEng. When she’s not writing, studying or doing her day job, Riza is obsessed with music and enjoys annoying her neighbours by playing five different instruments*!

The Cupids Do Christmas

Piotr “Snake” Lewin has had it with his job as one of Aphrodite’s cupids. He’s sick of all the true love bollocks, and if he has to watch one more couple fall in love, heads are going to roll. Probably literally.

The final straw is the announcement that the cupids will be helping out Father Christmas in the run up to the most materialistic day of the year. One overcommercialised holiday a year is more than enough, thanks.

That’s it. Piotr quits. Now, he just has to survive the one month notice period at ‘The North Pole’, and the cute elf who’s dead set on making friends.
