Day 18: 30 Days of Christmas 2012

Our winner for Day 17 is Samuel Gabriel! Congratulations! That’s some hot stuff for you to read!

Today I have even more hot stuff, more authors and more books! The lineup today makes me droooool: Kaje Harper, Dev Bentham and Julia Michaels. Dev’s book is a MM holiday story just out today. Oh Yum. Kaje’s has a cover by me. 😉 And Julia’s book will have two winners because not only is it MF (while the other two are MM) but she’s giving away two PRINT copies to commenters who live in the US!

Kaje Harper – Home Work

Mac and Tony thought the hard part was over. They’re together openly as a couple, sharing a home and building a life with their two children. It’s what they dreamed of. But daughter Anna struggles with the changes, Ben is haunted by old secrets, Mac’s job in Homicide still demands too much of his time, and Tony is caught in the middle. It’s going to take everything these men can give to create a viable balance between home and work. Especially when the outside world seems determined to throw obstacles in their way.

Dev Bentham -Sacred Hearts

Life’s a gamble–and lately David Schwartz’s partner has been losing so much that David must close their restaurant, the hippest little place in Portland. He sells everything and moves back home, but at thirty-five, he’s not eager to sleep alone in his childhood bedroom or to be supported by his father for the second time in his adult life.

David’s had enough. He needs to start over, maybe with someone like the elusive man he’s been seeing in his dreams. An old friend offers him a job catering a movie set in Puerto Vallarta. It’s been years since David’s alcoholism spun out of control along the highways of Mexico. Determined to experience Mexico sober, he stuffs his few remaining possessions in a backpack and takes the next flight down.

As Mexico prepares for Christmas, David lights Hanukkah candles, celebrating the return of the sun and wishing for true love. On the first night of Hanukkah, David meets a tall, dark stranger who rocks his world in a secluded moonlit cove. Is this the mystery man of his dreams–the answer to David’s prayers? And what must David sacrifice to make his dreams come true?

Julia Michaels – Never Love a Bad Boy

Amanda Collins is forced to the real world when her father cuts off her academic pursuits.  Rebellion lands the long–legged naïve blonde in Tokyo working in nightclub where she falls for a Yakuza Godfather, Niko Mifune.

Abandoned as a child Niko grew up in every sense a “lost boy.”  The only family he’d ever known were the crime leaders of the Japanese Yakuza.  Niko’s emotions and thinking process fall victim to Amanda’s charms.

As the Yakuza, Law, family, and ethical issues all threaten their future together, Amanda realizes why her mother warned her to NEVER LOVE A BAD BOY.

Comment on this post by midnight Pacific time for a chance to win all of these books! Just remember that we’re giving away two copies of Julia’s book and the winners have to live in the US.

Also, check out the Lords of Aether today! Free gay steampunk serial story. Today’s post is by Jaime Samms, Stephani Hecht and me. The plot twists in a major way for four of the LOA characters. Come on over and read for FREE!

Happy Holidays!
